I believe that KSP needs more moons than they have currently. It gets boring after a little while, and I already have OPM installed. I believe a potatoroid moon for Duna, a volcanic moon for Jool, and maybe a small ice and dust moon for Dres.

That's just my opinion, though.

comet

[kom-it]

noun, Astronomy.
1.
a celestial body moving about the sun, usually in a highly eccentricorbit, consisting of a central mass surrounded by an envelope of dustand gas that may form a tail that streams away from the sun.

Sorry, I'm an absolute idiot when it comes to astronomy, or life as a whole.

Moons! They're so adorable, especially the small ones, because you can pack them in a tighter area, so you can have more!  Anyway, I think stock moons for Eeloo and Dres are definitely needed, maybe a 2016 HOanalogue would be nice, and maybe a small, close in satellite for Moho, and also a small asteroid moon for Tylo would be cool too.

Proper comets with fancy tails would be cool though!

Interesting, but

1. Duna's already bizarre enough - a mutually tidally-locked system consisting of an atmospheric desert with huge polar caps and a big rocky mun moon that in the real universe would probably orbit a common barycenter. Such a closely-spaced system would almost certainly be unable to support any other satellites, even small ones.

2. Sure, volcanos are cool. On Laythe's islands perhaps. I mean, Laythe's in Io's spot, so it's the proper choice. :)

3. As already said... not really. Wouldn't have the tail out by Dres. Which would be like having Saturn without the rings.

Sorry about the naming mistake, people. I know that it wouldn't technically have a tail, or orbit around the sun, or even have an elliptical orbit.

Thanks for all of the suggestions, though!

Jool needs a vast number of minor moons, like Jupiter. Possibly even procedurally generated. It'd be fun to get a Kerbal in an ion chair and hop between them.
