How to transfer science experiments?

Recommended Posts

How to transfer science experiments between various crew modules? Although I already landed on the Mun many times, I'll be doing that for the first time on my 1.1 career save and I am considering using an Apollo style mission, but that would require transferring all the science into the CSM. On 1.0.5, I used the workaround of returning straight from the Mun surface without a separate CSM. I heard it is possible to transfer science, just idk how. Help?

An kerbal on eva can pick up science data from a pod and store at another pod, or simply enter the compartment.

Note that you can only store one copy of an experiment like an surface sample from biome. An kerbal in an rover seat and science labs can store unlimited
