Surface mountable cameras

Was wondering if there was or used to be a mod that would let you place little surface cameras like go pros to your vessels. It's be awesome to to do missions whIle limiting camera view to actual cameras on your vessel. Anything like that out there?

RasterPropMonitor has this as a feature included, specifically for the reason you've described.

That looks like you can only view the cameras via IVA monitors. Does it let you change the regular camera views (auto, free, orbital, chase, locked) to the cameras on the vessel? That's what I'm looking for.

It's sounds like you are looking for HullCam VDS.  It's a slightly different approach.
