Drakau's Guide to XBox controls.

Question

Drakau    14

I spent some time today writing out all the key bindings from the help menus for Xbox One to print off and keep in front of me

Sorry about formatting all over the place as I'm not a programming type so just threw everything into an excel sheet :)

Hope it helps!

This should be stickied in the Gameplay Questions forum so us PC guys can do better helping the console guys.

Wow that's a lot of controls. Playing on a keyboard since 4 years, I'm not sure if I could remember all that, I understand the complaints about the controls better now!

I'm not sure if it is my technique or the sensitivity of the controller but when I do anything with LB/RB, it either registers only the LB/RB and ignores the other part or it does nothing at all. Example: When trying to shut off my engines, more often than not, it will switch to another view or it will do nothing at all.

Pretty annoying.

Has anyone been able to reliable shift vessel focus on Xbox?  It seems sometime LB dead left and right works, other times it doesn't.  If I have noticed anything it seems like we have ridiculously close for vessel focus controls to work.

I hate how sometimes when I try to fine tune maneuver nodes using LB/RB, the camera focuses on another celestial body. Once that happens, I panic since I can't see my Ap or Pe and have to shut down all engines for a moment to reorient the camera back on my vessel in orbit. Very annoying.

Hey I just posted this elsewhere but its been the focus of my attention recently as i'm putting together a mun base.

the vessel switch buttons do not work unless you have a Kerbal in EVA for some stupid reason.

Bring on the update!!!!

Shouldn't this be in the Gameplay Questions and Tutorials subforum? It isn't really a request for support on game issues, it's just a guide for Xbox KSP controls. And the place for guides is the 'Tutorials' area of the Gameplay Questions and Tutorials subforum.

The console versions were given their own subforum because some aspects of the game are quite different. And we try to put things where we think people are most likely to look for them.

Not a console user, but have a friend who is. Might be useful.
