Check if SmartA.S.S. is active

Hello again.

I need the piece of code to check if SmartASS on a given Vessel is set to anything but off. Also I'd like to handle the case that MechJeb is not installed at all.

Does anybody know how to?

Yes.

To be more helpful: are you using reflection, or are you hard-linking to the MechJeb DLL?  This method takes advantage of reflection to set up a delegate that checks if SmartASS is off.  If you hard-link, you will do just about the same thing, only you won't need reflection to get to the methods and field you need.
