Cannot click "Space Center" or "Recover Vechile"

Recommended Posts

I tried this 5 times.  I am lauching a satelite for a contract, get it into orbit, and thats it.  I can go no further.

I tried going back to space center.
I tried landing back on Kerbin.
I tried destroying the rocket by coming back to Kerbin too fast.
I tried deleting all my saved vechiles and trying again.

Nothing works.  Any suggestions?  This is a new bug for me.  Its just not playable at all.  I cant complete my flights!

Sounds like you have run into the game breaking bug. Sorry to hear that. Not much you can do to get the game back to the way it was. A few people have posted some "workarounds," but they haven't worked for me. The game probably never should have been released in it's current state, and they are scrambling to find a fix. It is two months after release and we are still pretty clueless as to when a fix is actually coming. What a mess.

When you restart go to the tracking station, shoe debris, then select and terminate them all.

get rid of any probes your not using, eg old contract launches.

then delete save craft in the VAB your not using, this mitigated the problem here down to 'occasionally ' from 'constantly '

Yeah, kinda sounds like the bug, where everything Locks up after longer missions.

Had this happen to me after doing a Kerbal-Mun-Kerbal trip. As far as i know theres no fix for this, Unless you can somehow make it Autosave for you.

I made a thread about this earlier, With a workaround (that worked for me). But this wont work for everyone, as i did have a manned capsule. I had too go into EVA and could then retrive the ship.

I made a thread about this earlier, Guess its somewhat the same prob.

That workaround might not work here tho :(

This thread is quite old. Please consider starting a new thread rather than reviving this one.
