Would it be possible to make it an option to connect to the forums using HTTPS?

Given as it is possible to login with your email address, that not everyone implements best practices of using different passwords for every site, and that Wireshark is a thing (yes, even on secured networks), could it be possible to allow using HTTPS to connect to the forums?
