Cannot update past 1.13

I'm trying to update the game to 1.2. via the native launcher (KSP launcher), but it won't finish the download.

I get the following errors:

I tried removing the mods I had, and trying the update again, but it doesn't fix the problem.

 

Is there a way to fix this? any help would be appreciated.

In my past experience, the patcher just doesn't work. It might be just a problem with your particular case, but normally I just get a fresh download from the store and copy everything that I need over.

so uninstall and download a fresh install?

Or just install a second copy, just make sure to put it in a different folder so nothing overwrites.

The patcher is no longer in use and is unsupported, it will not be fixed.

Please download the patches from your store account downloads page.
