PS4 console won't let a circumnavigation occur, game crashes...

But I will be trying again once patch/rework is released.

Have you reported the bug to Squad?

I'm not sure where I would even look to find out how to do that.

So, no I haven't.

Not bad for a first submission!  And good-looking, too!

I tried again with a different plane and a lower altitude.

Cruising speed was 1730-1736 m/s at 18,500 meters.

It took a little extra time to get onto the runway since i undershot it by a bit:)

time: 39:55

I think you have a typo there--your time appears to be 39:05.  Very nice!

Inspired by the aviation challenge, I've been flying an airship around Kerbin and visiting all the anomalies in my save as I go. It's taken weeks (work, modding, etc) but I'm about halfway done:

I know it doesn't qualify for this challenge, but it's loads of fun nonetheless. You can read the mission report here if you're interested. Thanks for the inspiration! :)

Testing the range of this acrobatic aircraft, it turned out to have more than enough for a full circunnavigation, but i didn't record it the first time.  Now i've done it again and took photos in the way :D

Imgur will ask you whether or not you want to browse for pictures.
When it ask this, click "Browse" then you should be able to pick your pictures from there (in KSP they will be in the "screenshots" folder in the main game directory).

After the pictures upload, click and copy the link address, press the greyed out box within the reply box that says "INSERT OTHER MEDIA", click URL, then paste the picture link in the address box.

When you see your picture, hit "SUBMIT REPLY" and your picture will be there.

Ohh, wasn't that hard, that took me 10 fails and 1h 0m-ish to go around! Landed near the end of the runway! Sorry, forgot about screenshots! Too busy trying to stop it from tipping!

@Skystorm - A nice leisurely stroll around Kerbin without the terrifying heat of compressed plasma, and at an altitude where you can actually see stuff!  You've been added to the leaderboard.

@DeltaVerb - I'm afraid that in order to qualify, you'll need to provide a bit more documentation.  Not that I doubt you completed it, but rules are rules, and we can't afford to set a bad precedent.

Just a 1x circumnavigation, even overshot the runway on my way back and had to spend a few minutes heading back. Finding the airport in pitch black darkness made it a tad difficult, but my instincts turned out to be reliable.
