CANNOT OPEN LAUNCHER, SOS!!

I CANNOT OPEN THE LAUNCHER!!!

I came to try to update and got THIS error message:

Could..... not preload global game manager #0   i=0

What the F### is going ON?!??!?!?

 

P.S. I am using a modded install. is this making a difference?

No idea why the launcher isn't working for you, but mods shouldn't affect the launcher.

Why do you even need to open the launcher though?

I have the normal download, not steam.

That still doesn't explain why you want the launcher....

I don't use steam either...

Oh you want to update to 1.2.1?

Just download the .zip from the KSP website.

If you go to the official website and click store and then log in with your account you can click on the My Account button, it will show you all the things you have purchased from them, there is a download button next to KSP, if you click that you can choose what you want to download.

Sure you can. Just find the install folder and run the appropriate executable (ksp.exe ot ksp_x64.exe for 64-bit).
