Maybe update the OP to say that it's a UI mod. Most people, me included, will not read the comments to see what the mod is and will just overlook the mod. Luckly the first comment points out what it is but it will still turn off some readers.

But thats easy to miss, simply putting "UI mod" in the OP would make it easier. But that just a sugestion, I just thought it might make it easier to understand what this mod is, but I could be in the minority here. Sorry if I seem rude, just wanted to help. I had no problem with the mod, it looks great, just it's not that clear on what it is at a glance. Sorry.

Thanks, I like the unity skin look, makes it look more space/Sci-Fi esk.

By the why, this will be the 80th mod in my install and at this point it take quite alot to get me to add a new mod and you've done it good Sir/Madam.

I like it. It's probably the one aspect of the game I haven't modded, and it's pretty cool. My one suggestion is for smaller title font sizes, or an option to resize them. It overlaps in some places and gets wonky. Also, KAC icons seem a tad small.

  • Enable/disable overdrive for KSP/Unity skin (dunno if someone will need that though :D)
  • Increase/decrease font sizes
  • Store styling definition in text file, to provide easy theming
  • As a result: switchable themes, I have idea of kinda blue theme inspired by KAC and ARP

Feel free to suggest anything else, I'll see if it is implementable :D

Themes? Hell yes! Disabling Overdrive on a per-mod basis can be helpful, if for some reason they don't get along. With a few themable tweaks that may not be a problem in the long run. I'll be keeping an eye on this. Rock on.

I will disappoint you: disabling Overdrive on per mod basis is impossible, unless mod developer implement some custom styling as @DMagic did for CapCom or @TriggerAu did for KAC and ARP.

Actually Unity styling and GUI library are mess. There's no clear, easy and centralized way to modify styling without extensive work. And there is lack of docs on this topic. Every developer is on his own and for himself on this field.

That's why I created Unity 5 UI Framework, Overdrive and Flight Plan are based on. It is an attempt to make styling somewhat easier for mod developers.

Of course it's now not really extensive, but in time I'll improve it, so maybe more developers start to create cool styles for their mods.

Textures distributed with this mod are 681 bytes size in total, not much memory impact. The rest is generated on the fly.

  • And many others...

It sounds COOOL, it sounds like BRAND.

And about Overdrive - it makes KSP UI rock! Pretty clear IMO :D:D:D:D
