COMM NETWORK / Tracking Stations

Recommended Posts

Depends on the upgrade level of your tracking station.  The "antenna power" of your tracking station is 10G initially, then 50G, then 250G when maxed out.  The most powerful single antennas are 100G (though you can boost that somewhat by combining multiple antennas).

Yep.. yep, get that.  I am curious that if I build a comm sat that equal or greater in strength than the KSC, will outter probes connect to it before KSC?

There is currently a bug with CommNet often preferring a direct conneciton to KSC over a better connection to a relay. So the answer to that happens to be no for now.

It was much easier to create satellites with better range than the Tracking Station during 1.2-pre ... but the Devs put a little work into balancing that out again. Yes, it can be done now, but it costs a fortune.
