KSPWheel - An alternate physics-based wheel collider solution for Kerbal Space Program.
This is not a parts mod. It does not add new parts to the game. It is useless by itself.
What it is, is a new Wheel Collider component, and a set of PartModules to enable its use on stock-rigging-compatible wheel models. It is intended to be packaged as a dependency with other mods, similar to how FireSpitter / ModuleManager are used.
What it does is provide a new physics-based wheel collide
(Not relevant to your post) I'm honestly a bit confused as to why output power is measured as torque * rpm -- shouldn't output 'power' be simply the torque output? The amount of 'work' done to increase a wheels RPM comes solely from the torque; the existing wheel/motor RPM has zero impact on the velocity increase from torque (that is determined by wheel inertia/mass), so intuitively, to me, I'm at a loss as to why 'power output' is measured as all of the documents / calculators / motor data sa
