[1.9.X]Aircraft Carrier Accessories

Hello, great mod!

I was wondering if it's possible to assign a different missile with the reloadble rail without going to SPH. I can reload the same missile, but not a different one.

I tried using the "Reassign" button but nothing happens. Is there anything I have to do to be able to reassign different missiles?

Thank you!

Reassign only valid if you use any method(mostly KIS) to mount a new missile on the rail. The rail will "remember" the new missile.

i was wondering why the carriers show up but not the actual accessories i did a manual install and i'm using the 1.6.1 version of the mod

the files are there but they are literally no where to be found in game

They should have a separate tab called ACA

Enterprise is a single part ship, I try to keep the function as less as possible to reduce the right click menu.

the tab has nothing in it and it is a white box as the tab's icon

the carrier in the pic is from Carrier_Vessel_eXpansion  and the carrier from the mod in the pic is the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier

here is the link

I'm having a problem with the launching catapult. It works perfectly fine until I go to launch, then for some reason the wheel is basically pulled down, causing parts to snap off or the whole plane smacks on the carrier. I have the wires hidden under the carrier deck and the blue box is still above, so I have no idea what's wrong.

Edit: I even tried using the premade carrier and it still does it.

Could you provide .log file? There might be a loading error

Could you provide a picture or something? the wheel is pulled down very hard, but shouldn't pass through the deck. Unless the wheel doesn't have collider build in.

You put the MOD in the wrong folder. Find GameData folder and combine it with the Gamedata folder in KSP root folder.

here is where it is

C:\Users\JPI008\Downloads\usb 2\usb games\Kerbal Space Program\GameData\GameData

and what do you mean by "combine it with the Gamedata folder in KSP root folder."

Hey! This may have been addressed already, but I can't find the thread: the optical landing system blows up from heat buildup upon loading, regardless of whether I load the ship from the hangar or with Vessel Mover. Any idea how to fix this? Thanks!

Hey @Briso could you tell me if the craft file for that F-14 is available anywhere? Or where that cockpit is from. Also are you running a custom config on KS3P? Really nice pic.

Oh actually you need to contact DiscoveryPlanet. This is his picture. In fact, as he told me he had not played KSP for a long time so I have to think that he has a craft file F-14. Although I can send you some of his great work. This mod Nice MKseries Body. Also I advise addition to it from the same developer Kerbal Field Weapon Pack. It adds weapons like BDArmory only a lot more. There are weapons from the USA, Russia and many other countries.

So I'm having an issue where , at some point while moving across the carrier with a craft (usually within a minute of making contact), the kraken sends the carrier and everything on it to the sun. This, as you can imagine, pretty much makes it useless, and I would *really* love to use it. Here's the .log leading up to it (ignore the overstressed wheel, that happens on the ground with that craft and this issue still happens regardless of the craft present):

This error continues on various parts for quite a while (massive understatement); with other errors and exceptions such as this:

[EXC 17:37:08.170] NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object
    Vessel.checkLanded ()
    KSPWheel.KSPWheelBase.updateLandedState ()
    KSPWheel.KSPWheelBase.FixedUpdate ()

And this:

[LOG 17:37:08.191] airlinerTailFin Exploded!! - blast awesomeness: 0.1
[EXC 17:37:08.194] NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object

    Part.Die ()
    Part.explode (Single offset)
    Part.explode ()
    Part.HandleCollision (UnityEngine.Collision c)
    Part.CheckCollision (UnityEngine.Collision c)
    Part.OnCollisionEnter (UnityEngine.Collision c)

And this:

[ERR 17:37:13.931] Module Catapult threw during OnFixedUpdate: System.NullReferenceException:
  at (wrapper managed-to-native) UnityEngine.Transform:INTERNAL_get_position (UnityEngine.Vector3&)

  at Catapult.OnFixedUpdate () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0

Appearing at various points as well. I have no knowledge of what anything in the log means, so if you need more I could send you the full .log through Drive or something along those lines. A fix would be VERY much appreciated. (I am running 1.6.1 if this matters)

Do you have physic range extender MOD installed?

What's with the tie down not showing wires with the fixed point? No matter where I place the tie downs and points, whether they're extremely close or a good distance between them, no green or pink lines show. I'm stopped right in between the tie downs, yet nothing shows. d4c2f87fc2288fdbbea9c7b1d1c91d5d.png
