Hi everyone,

Happy Apollo 17 anniversary everyone.

I've updated apollo17.org with a ton of new features. The site has received a lot of attention this past year, and over the summer I've expanded it greatly. I worked with the LRO team to reconstruct the landing site in 3D and add animations of the LRV traverses. I also added new interfaces (like transcript search) plus hours of previously unavailable historical footage.

The landing sequence will begin tomorrow, December 11th at 2:45PM EST if you'd like to watch it "live". Of course, if you're impatient you could just jump to that moment too: http://apollo17.org/?t=112:52:17

Thanks,
Ben Feist

Brilliant site and great idea!  I watched it all in real time last year and will do the same this year, with time off for sleeping.  Reminds me of hearing it all at the time.  Was it all really that long ago?  Doesn't time fly.
