You got some nice junk on that trunk, lol. A Tesla at a fuel station would be a rare sight indeed!

Had to put gas in the truck the other day. $100 for half a tank... . I'm starting a much closer job soon, I may need to make my wife drive the Yaris and buy an e-bike for my commute, reserving the truck for towing the RV....

I thought jerry cans for diesel were supposed to be yellow, to avoid confusion and/or mistakes....

Good that the carrier took the hit, but you might want to check the hitch receiver mounting  for buckling or other damage...

Long ago, a friend had an old  (70's) Sunfire that got rear-ended hard. The rear bumper and back end actually looked fine, but there was some buckling above the rear wheel wells and the fan was in the radiator!

In the current inflation one side of the world is suffering with 'how to buy fuel' on the other hand elon Musk is the only person who knew this earlier and go boom with E.V. I am thinking that how about setting on Mars with Elon, who knows earth gonna end soon

Surprised you haven't seen that bill explode as well. At least one person I know has complained that their electricity bill in CA has quadrupled.

didnt quite happen today. but i finally had to get out of town to take care of mom's diagnostic escort duty. the stupidity of the health care scheduling and the blatant ripping off of everyone involved will de discussed in the negative thread. but while we were in anchorage, i got to meet my new nephew. spent a few hours bouncing him on my knee until he leaked poo all over my pants. somehow i always get stuck with the members of my family who wear diapers.

Gemini-7 crew was feeling like that for two weeks, almost sitting on each other's knees in diapers, and your nephew is several times smaller.

i have a cat that's heavier.

My goodness, I checked ebay and they are selling for thousands!

Shhh… hear that? It’s the collective wail of millions of middle-aged Americans remembering for the umpteenth time how their parents just threw away what could have been a small fortune… :sob:

Wrote my last exam, took it slow and steady, taking a full 20 minutes of the 1 hour timeframe to do it. :sticktongue: (it was a music exam, and mostly multiple choice/fill in, and there isn’t really that much in the side-subject of music, well, not an hour’s worth).

But back to the point, VACATION!! :D

Three weeks of it! Alright, it is an icy cold winter-fingers 18°C indoors (let alone outdoors) but still! (Before the eskimos say that that’s not cold, I have to say, 34°C is normal not-too-hot summer temperature here. :sticktongue:)

I also bought myself a pack of double A’s and some switches to build a rudimentary power supply. I tell you, 5 amps per battery is the last amp measurement I expected!
