That happened with me as well, once I had all the planet pack files in.  When I was testing Part 1, the habit I got into was to fire up KSP, then go away and do something for a while.  And this is with a fairly beefy machine.

Looks and plays just fine one it's up.  It just takes its sweet time getting there.  :)  Consequently, I'll be installing my various parts and gameplay mods, test them out to make sure they all still play nicely, THEN install KSS.

Yeah, first time you install KSS it should crash the game. It's just the game trying to load the caches of 100+ bodies :P

After the caches are loaded, it will take a while just because KSS is such a massive mod. Once it's loaded the game should run pretty well depending on your RAM.

Don't worry bro , I see the files and ican DL it,  I just tell that it will take a moment  because the site is slow for me ...

EDIT : Also need to shift my entire install from 3.0 to 3.1  :)

UPDATE 0.7.2.! 

Hi everybody, finally it's there!! We've been working on this a little too long I guess but it's time to share it with everybody. I've taken out compatibility patches with other planetmods to see what the major bugs are before moving to that part. These will be added to the DL list on Github as soon as I feel all the major bugs are fixed. From now on the focus will move from planetcreating to lore. Although there are still 2 systems planned.

Hope you guys enjoy 0.7.2.

Added a revamped Kerolon System containing 22 new celestials
Added the Kelar System

  • System contains Hetoo, Lyrne and Tesyl. More will be added in the future.
    Added Kereksus (neutron star) and Kerulum

Kerbol system:

  • Jool is retextured
  • Added rings to Hal
  • Retextured Pol
  • Tropical Laythe reinserted into the game
  • Kuiper Belt analogue added using asteroids

Nova Kirbani System:

  • Renamed some of the biomes on several planets to be more exciting.

Kelnis System:

  • Renamed the biomes to make them more exciting.

Kormin System:

  • Rings around Tide

Karkua:

  • Mass increased to become a supermassive black hole.

    This is a result of a copyright issue caused by Part 1 of KSS
  • Redone engine particles for the plasma engine
  • Flares for Karkua and The All
  • Total retexturing of all stars
  • Smoother light curves for all stars
  • Geysers on Icy Laythe and Eeloo

Parts

  • Micrometeorite Shied: 16m in diameter and non-inflatable

Excuse me I ran scatterer before no problem... I ran it just yesterday with RSS and Scatterer doesnt render on the main menu.

Due to the immense amount of bodies in KSS, (sunflares n all), scatterer takes up way more resources then scatterer in RSS
