I have a weird interaction between this mod and KRASH: https://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/133082-17-krash-kerbal-ramification-artificial-simulation-hub-simulation-mod-for-ksp-cost-settings-have-been-change/#comments

When I have Tarsier and KRASH installed (plus some other mods) then I cannot use the orbit selection menu in KRASH - nothing shows at all. I've posted logs in the KRASH thread (look towards the end) - but no one seems to have a clue how to fix it!

I realise that Tarsier is probably not the only issue here - something in KRASH clearly doesn't like a GUI implementation - but is there anyway to fix it from within Tarsier or maybe you know what is causing the bug so that it can fixed in KRASH? I did a whole test where I added mods and tested them together - and it seems to me like Tarsier and KRASH together are the problem (I did also have a problem with Bon Voyage, so again, is a GUI problem that kills KRASH?).

Any help would be appreciated - KRASH is a very useful mod and I want to use Tarsier for the cool science parts!

So im having a weird issue with TST and contares probes.  the telescopes in TST work fine but the ones is Contares Probes has the camera at a 90 degree angle to the scope.

I have tested with only TST and Probes installed and it still happens.

log file is https://www.dropbox.com/s/i59hzgmbiov9nrr/output_log.txt?dl=0

Also posting a picture of the problem https://www.dropbox.com/s/vwdv8960c83ha5s/JPEG_20190919_172547.jpg?dl=0

Will also post this is modded support

No Galaxies

The "Show Bodies"-Menu shows sometimes more, sometimes less entries. That isn't really a Problem because obviously I can also Target with the Map View. However, the "Show Galaxies"-Menu never showed anything.

@JPLRepo Thanks for your hard work on the Tarsier mod! I'm able to do this:

Now I should figure out how to integrate the observatory with Research Bodies...

I need that :D

Which mod of yours got that part?

I'm seeing exactly the same thing, no galaxies and bodies only seem to show what has had a photo taken of them once. I thought it was something with ReserachBodies but do not have it installed on a new save but have the same issue.

For some reason the rover chemcam doesn't deploy in v1.8, it seems to work fine in build mode but as soon as it's actually out in the wild it stubbornly refuses to budge either when I click the button or press the action group I assigned it to. I tried it on a clean game with nothing but TST and the stock parts but it still didn't work. The space telescopes seem to be working fine.

Ah yea.. Because something changed in KSP 1.8 that I missed. I'll release a patch.

I'm currently playing career mode and I have a problem because the galaxies doesn't show up in the galaxy list even though I have a contract to take a photo of the twin clouds. Any thoughts why this could be happening or is it supposed to be like this?

Yeah, I've reproduced the problem. I will release a patch.

So the zoom is strong enough to work with a 10x larger stock system as well and photograph Eeloo?

Should be. But you can change it in TSTMMKopernicus.cfg file in the TST folder in gamedata.

I have an issue that every time I try to use a telescope to take a picture of the Mun in my career mode KSP stalls out and has to be closed out.  This only seems to happen in career mode.  Strangely it had worked earlier in my career in that save.  I put the same kind of telescope up in  sandbox mode and it worked just fine.  I am running a bunch of mods in KSP 1.7.3, TST version 7.7 installed via CKAN.

I tried to hyperedit a new sat up in orbit in and my career save and encountered the same issue.

Attached are my output logs.

Does 7.9 only work under KSP 1.8.x or is it backward compatible with 1.7.3 as well? Many important mods are still not up to 1.8 so still using prior version until then.

Nope. 7.9 will only work with KSP 1.8.x
