Thoughts on Jool's Moon, Tylo

It is unclear to me why Squad should hate and despise Tycho Brahe to such enormous degree as to name that place after him.

I mean, come on, Tylo is just a *********, horrible Kerbal-killing piece of ****, some rotten .... [not for the first time when the topic is Tylo, discreet security types now drag n.b.z. off his soap-box and away from the mic; this time before the really bad screaming and kicking has started.]

Urban myth, your muscles fail before your bladder ruptures :)

That particular urban myth is not much of a myth. It's based largely on the testimony of Johannes Kepler, who was at the same banquet. What he actually said was that Brahe wouldn't pee and did himself some kind of injury as a result which ended up causing profound urinary problems and very soon death by (probably) uremia. Not peeing won't burst your bladder like a balloon, but it certainly can cause a non-functioning bladder and a fatal bladder infection.

I don't know the details of Tycho's death, but bladder stones that plug the ureter at the base of the bladder could very well kill you; your bladder may not rupture from pressure per se, but tissue necrosis might make it rupture where healthy tissue would not. Any real physicians in the house? :)

It is really hard to land there.  Getting back off of it is even worse...

Only the landing is hard, because landing something with enough delta-v and TWR to escape Tylo's gravity without an atmosphere to slow you down is quite the challenge.  Once that is on the ground, getting back to orbit is a piece of cake (far easier than taking off from Kerbin, needing around 1000m/s less delta v, with no atmosphere to mess with engine ISP))
