They do. They count as regular anomalies. So keep in mind that every probe core has a certain chance of discovering them...

another option, without waiting for discovery with either kerbnet or scan sat. is to use the mechjeb landing guidance. hover the mouse where the green line intercepts the planet when passing over a station and boom! GPS coordinates.

I'm trying to fly *to* them, so that's a *very* workable idea... (Since I do use MJ.  Shoulda thought of that myself.)

I'm using Scansat 16.11, and they're not showing up.  Just the 'normal' anomalies.
