After I finished writing "Kontakt - A KSP Novel" and "NISSKEPCSIM's Career" met an untimely end, I haven't been writing much -- scratch that, I haven't been writing at all! -- on these forums. But all that's about to change. Because something is coming. Something big. Something that will turn the world... Upside Down...

"Darkest Fears" - A blend of "KSP", "Stranger Things", and "It"...

            Coming this weekend...

Having read the OP novella now that you've brought it to my attention (this thread was active while I was away from KSP), I'm looking forward to your next undertaking.  Good luck!

However, to be more on topic in this old thread, I must say that I'm a huge fan of tragedies.  Any exaggerations inherent to the genre to put the characters in the worst situation imaginable are only minor embellishments on reality which, at the best of times, for the vast bulk of folks, is usually slightly on the sucky side of tolerable. The tragedian amount of reality-tweaking is less than that required by comedy and WAY WAY WAY less than that required by soap operas and so-called "reality shows" :D

That's the long way of saying I liked the ending.  Utter annihilation is how things have ended in the vast bulk of my stories, although I've never talked about it in the thread itself.  At most, I might mention in a new thread that the Supernova of (insert game update version here) burned Kerbin down to bedrock, only the crazy survivalists in their bunkers survived, and so they started over.  It's nice to see some details of how messy the end can get :)

This thread is quite old. Please consider starting a new thread rather than reviving this one.
