Kerbal engineer redux not working

Hello,

this might be a stupid question but i'm new to KSP, and i'm having a problem running kerbal engineer redux, for some reason, it does not work (not all the time though)

and sometimes it does work, depending on the rocket.

is there any reason why this is happening?

I suspect you are playing career mode. KER supports career mode, in the sense that you need to fulfill certain requirements to get the readout during flight, such as having an engineer Kerbal present onboard, adding a certain part to the rocket, or others. You can customize what exactly applies to you in your current game (or even set it to always-on) in the Settings tab of the KER window when you are in the editor. (You might want to ask in the KER mod thread what each setting means if you find it confusing.)
