So what song is stuck in your head today?

Recommended Posts

Great band, great lyrics - "It's six o'clock in the tower blocks, The stalagmites of culture shock"

Another one - "You should have listened to the priest at the confession When he offered you the sacred bread"

This is tormenting me today:

Well, not specifically this, but rather the internet-famous David Armand interpretation thereof, which I can’t quite decide is forum-friendly or not despite being broadcast on prime time TV.

Kinda weird having a silly dance stuck in your head...

How can this not be stuck in my head. I seem to hear it every time I turn around...

Today, rewinding it... Medieval period. P. des Molins (who is likely 'Pierre de Molins'). Two pieces;

Amis tout dous (Friends all)

and,
De ce fol pensé (From this crazy thought)

Why? Only because his name came up in a conversation, sparking interest. Why not.

My wife wanted to send this to someone, then played it on the phone and danced around. Now it’s stuck in my head:

Good for her! Now add this to it... and if you don't dance with her, shame on you! ^_^

We had a "team building exercise" involving the use of random objects to stack red solo cups. So naturally our group of smartasses were singing this song for the rest of the day :D

Best,

Antonio Soler (aka Antonio Francisco Javier José Soler Ramos)
Late Baroque. Here are a few marvelous pieces, short and sweet...

Sonata in F# (F sharp), by Alicia de Larrocha. This interpretation is simply brilliant!

Sonata in E minor, guitar duo arrangement, nice performance. (looks just like my old Giannini)

Fandango in D minor, Andreas Staier on the harpsichord... pretty awesome piece.

Enjoy!

The one I wanted to share that's been stuck in my head would get me close to a thousand infraction points for profanity and religion (ask @Just Jim, he'll tell ya!). So I'll share this one, the other song I've had on my mind for the last hour...

Me, thanks to @Just Jim, I stumbled upon this on Spotify. :D

However, because... reasons..., the only lyrics I actually hear are...

I want to sing and dance, I want to sing and dance
I want to be a pirate in the Pirates of Penzance
Wear me silver-buckled slippers and me tight shiny pants
I want to sing and dance
