So what song is stuck in your head today?

Recommended Posts

Trying to get to sleep with music on is always a challenge, but I have found that Enya is a proven winner in my book, also the same music works equally well when I am stressed.

Next to Paint the Sky with stars I think this is Enya's most dream-like "space themed" song.

It shouldn’t be any surprise that with the passing of John Mann, this is stuck in my head. There are two radio stations playing in different areas at work, and they were both playing this song all day long......

I've never called anyone's singing being good, but this one might be it.

In memory of D.C. Fontana, scriptwriter of some of my favorite Star Trek episodes...
Including this: "The Way to Eden"
(under the pseudonym Michael Richards)
RIP Ma'am... you will be missed  ;.;

(also... the song may seem a little campy... but listen carefully to the lyrics... there's some wisdom in these space hippies.)

~~FUNKY~~

I don't get the meaning of the song at all, but the simultaneous energizing and pacifying nature of the song is just so.... good....

And @Yeet_TheDinosaur, if you liked "We are number one.", You are going to love this:

Just wanted to listen at Selling England by the Pound this morning around 10...

(I'm still singing it in my head almost twelve hours later)

Watched The Sound Of Music yesterday, for the first time in probably about 40 years. Surprisingly good movie for how sappily sweet it is.

Anyway, of all the songs in the movie, THIS is the one I keep singing.

As background music, I keep going back to:

Throw in something like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dWoIljGEOQ4 in the background, and it's an entire atmosphere.

I've looked up from the computer to be confused to see a sunny day out the window.  I could have sworn it was a dark and stormy night...
