Did anyone else think the legs were stuck closed?  They were really late

I was like: "are they gonna land on the engine bells? I'm quite an expert on that." It's also  true that the booster's camera has a few seconds of delay

Farewell Dragon 1. Ten great years and a bunch of milestones racked up, culminating in the 50th booster landing. A pretty damn good swan song I'd say.

Rock on Dragon 2 and all who fly her!

Successful landing number 50!

That's a lot of landings. I think they may be getting good at this.

If I was a SpaceX fan, I would also calculate total payload and compare to other rocket families.

Cost means nothing, as is hidden. You never know what else was not included in the bill.

So which launch system do you suggest we should compare it with?

I don't, I'm not a SpaceX fan.
It's just a lazy advice.
Probably, it's ~500..700 t, so choose any on your choice, or several of them.

No, Falcons steer away from obstacles.

probably for stability due to the wind conditions Elon mentioned.

A moonbase requires a moonspeak.

RUD = a crash
Event = a wannabe crash
Anomaly = a crasher
Uneventful = no crash

Spoiler

UPD = unscheduled personnel decommission
Touchdown = touched the barge and sank down

This must be the upper (CH4) tank, right?

It's a lower tank. The test is of the "puck" that constitutes the thrust structure.

They are apparently hoping not to "shuck the puck."

Shouldn’t the top dome be upside down then, as in this scheme:

?
