I don’t think this will delay Crew-2 or any upcoming CRS missions, but does anyone have an idea if the landing anomaly will push back some launches as they investigate? They obviously don’t want to potentially throw away boosters if they can help it.

USSF-44 (Falcon Heavy) has been delayed to July, probably unrelated. Also, it seems like Starlink will be 75% of SpaceX’s manifest through Q1 and Q2 this year.

It's not just about throwing away boosters, it's about having a reliable and robust recovery of rockets, especially if they eventually plan to expand this into a reliable and robust recovery of 100+ people.

SpaceX is in an interesting spot with Falcon 9s. How many of them should they build?

If they can reliably reuse them, then they shouldn't build too many. They want to be transitioning to Starship, right? And they don't want to end up with a fleet of extra Falcon 9s just sitting around.

But they have launch commitments, and if they lose too many then they won't have the boosters they need to do those launches.

So what's the right number of Falcons to build?

My one trip to KSC, we spotted a bunch of skeletons around the launch pads.  Gators apparently don't excite the Sierra Club

Saw an alligator in the pound next to the spaceX pad.  They have special fences the alligators can't climb to keep them out from the pads and other areas with people. As I understand you have to use an car or buss to get around because of the alligator security guards.

A spaceport fortress surrounded by a fence, under siege of dragons trying to climb up and break in.
Burning them from top with fire jets, so the wasteland and swamp around is covered with sooty dragon skeletons...

What a fantastic fantastic setting... And all this irl... Wow...

Replace spaceport with factory and dragons with alien bugs and that sounds like  my experience with Factorio!

It's tricky as they need to keep the rocket factory going as well. They certainly need as many Stage 2 sections as launches, so that keeps the line going on those.

(NASA page slow loading for me, likely power out at Johnson, maybe they are using all of it for the space heaters)

Quote from NASA:

This decision, in part, stems from technical challenges associated with two mission critical components: the Didymos Reconnaissance and Asteroid Camera for Optical-navigation (DRACO) imager, which needs to be reinforced to ensure it withstands the stress of launch, and the roll-out solar arrays (ROSA), which are delayed due to supply chain impacts resulting from, but not limited to, the COVID-19 pandemic.

Does "Event Starship Update" mean that there's gonna be a starship update soon or is that just a fan render thing

Looks like just a screenshot from the website. That tweet isn't an official SpaceX announcement anyway.
