James May attempts to ignite a SS-18 Satan nuclear missle with a lighter

Is he sure if it's properly aimed?

Making those starship polished like mirror, do they realize that this may significantky decrease their FPS, especially since there are a lot of objects around which may be reflected?

Maybe that's why the Starships always have problems with touchdown?

The simulation runs into performance issues due to lots of flying dust particles that need to be calculated, rendered and reflected by shiny objects.

Do they usually do static test firing of Falcon 9 on the same day they plan the launch?

They do them pretty soon before hand on some Starlinks.

The launch is not for ~24 hours though.

25 hours.

uhm no..? wouldnt it be sn12 next?

As tater said, SN12, 13 and 14 were scrapped due to (as yet unknown) upgrades to SN15 and subsequent prototypes.

(Landings excepted) testing has gone pretty smoothly so far, so it wouldn't be worth delaying flight experience with SN15-type prototypes in order to get more flight experience with SN8-type ones. Totally worth the manufacturing practice though.

That right there is why I like Elon's SpaceX persona.  The general openness about problems and fessing up when he made what now seems to be the wrong call.
