I'm surprised (but probably shouldn't be for some reason that I'm certain I will be informed of) that the Dragon capsule isn't misted/rinsed with fresh water nearly immediately after being pulled from the ocean.  They do get to it eventually though, but it seems to be only focused around the side hatch to possibly keep saltwater from dripping into the hatch mechanisms.  I'd think they'd want all salt off as soon as possible from the entire craft given the investment.  What am I missing?

The section 106 review was completed! This was the last consultation necessary for the Enviromental Assestment, which means that things are looking quite good for a release of the results at the end of this month. After that, if the result is a mitigated FONSI or less, there's the launch license and perhaps then launch

Curious as to whether it will actually fly, or just be used to refine tanking and detanking procedures, to ensure the same thing doesn’t happen to BN8…

Likely the latter, thankfully B8 is basically complete. I expect them to wait stacking things over the downcomer before B7 cryo tests successfully tho
