The six hexagonal tiles under the SpaceX logo are Starlink comm antennae, right?

Thermal sensors iirc, the Starlink antenna is the oval at the bottom of the pic. Or maybe that's a hatch, dunno

The oval at the bottom is an access hatch, I'm not sure where the Starlink antenna(e) are on S24.

I do know that B7 has a couple on the small HPU aerocovers near the base.

B7 has been quieter than I expected. Thought there would have been some sort of tests underway by now, before stacking. I guess they’re making sure everything is perfect…

Today should be the beginning of static fire related testing I heard, with spin up tests of the R2s mounted. Then there's preburners, then maybe next week the first firings?

Did SpaceX explain why they painted parts of the Starship black? Not that I'm complaining, since it will make it much easier to paint a simple model rocket version of it (as opposed to having to paint the ragged edge pattern of the tiles).

Could be purely for aesthetics, I suppose.

Or maybe that's ablative paint to compensate for any plasma spillover from the tiles.

Finally, blackbodies radiate better than anything else, so maybe they painted the regions closest to the heat shield black to allow them to re-radiate heat away more efficiently. That last one might be a stretch but you never know.

Is it just me or do those grid fins look like they have shorter chord length than earlier iterations for Superheavy?
