If I may make a suggestion.

How about one main screen (maybe larger than current) on top of 3x medium screens and that's it - Plus whatever background image for a control room.

The small screens are all but useless for viewing and only take up graphics time, and without these you should get a smoother operation and it'll be less hassle software wise..:wink:

Thinking along these lines.. simple easy and good views (from a 'box')

I've recompiled it for 1.3, available here:

https://github.com/linuxgurugamer/KSP-ProbeControlRoom/releases/tag/1.2.2.7-beta

This is NOT an adoption, unless @Virindi doesn't come back.

Some minor changes needed to be made for 1.3.

Cheers Pal, I saw that you had posted this before, but you had also mentioned some issues? So I had was going to wait patiently for @Virindi to return, as I was also hoping they had the ability to implement the new RPM features were the screens will go blank with the loss of comnet.

I miss the implementation of the sub module "ADV" of MechJeb's Smart A.S.S. - I use it often for probes to orient relative to the sun for best solar panel output.

Edit:

I it possible that the actual setup of a specific IVA - in this case the Probe Control Room IVA of course - can be saved as default?

Could anyone explain the 4x rotation parameters in the  PROP statements

	PROP
	{
		name = kOSTerminal
		position = 0.2,0.487,0.158
		rotation = 0.4353384,-0.5572078,0.5572078,0.4353383
		scale = 4,1,1.5
	}

I'm re-arranging the control room to something simpler, but have a problem setting the rotation parameters... they have some wierd axis (if any)

Looks like you are making them really thick also but you should be able to rotate them easy in unity just by holding a click on them and move what ever way you want if I remember right

I'm just editing the cfg files, and looking at which numbers to changes in this section..

rotation = 0.4353384, -0.5572078,   0.5572078,   0.4353383

I thought it might be

rotation =X, Y, Z, ?

But it seems to be some other axis..

O man that is a hard way to do it you can download the free unity and it will be a lot easier you but if you do you might also do a test install of ksp and have JSI and all the ASET stuff installed and change all the textures to png or tga some you can see them in unity
