I've been able to replicate it, but have on idea what's going on.  It may be something in the model, I can't find anything right now.  I'll open an issue on github to remember this, but don't expect anything for a while

May I suggest to enabling the mod by default in the VAB? It would be reasonable to assume that a user wants to see the more accurate CoL-indicator, especially after taking the steps to install this mod.
