Also, what do I need to change so the Spacesky isn't a light show? I am very certain the view from outspace is... darker.

(As noted, I am usign Astronemer until SVE return)

This is how my game looks with only the required mods installed. Once I actually load into a game, Kerbin looks normal and less rainbowy, but the extremely busy, "fuzzy" skybox is still there:

Is this how AVP is supposed to look out of the box or am I missing something?

Yes. He is such a.
Put the "distant object" will be better. It seems to me. and more realistic.

If you are not happy with the skybox, maybe these can help:

its been a while i tested them, but they should be compatible with 1.8.1.

I want to ask what should I do if I want to use the stock plant terrain? Simply Delete terrain Config in GameData\AstronomersVisualPack\EVE\Stock or anything else?

The terrain config is merely a placeholder and does not actually affect the terrain. You will have the stock terrain with or without it.

Hello, I have recently gotten this mod and I've looked online and im surprised its just me but why does everywhere that isnt in a small radius just flooded with water on kerbin?

But...I did a lot of tests and I found the only why to make this happen is to delete the terrain dll of the EVE mod. I mean EVE mod, not yours. And whatever you believe it or not, the stock terrain of KSP 1.8.1 looks great.

i am using a 2.5x rescale mod, and the mountains peak through the clouds. is there a way to adjust the settings so that this and other stuff don't happen?

Beyond.

Please note Astronomer's Visual Pack is not currently compatible with KSP 1.9 due to an update for scatterer, EVE, and Kopernicus being required for AVP's functionality.

If you use sigma dimensions, which I do assume: You should look for the .cfg which defines the rescale parameters and edit the "landscape" value to something smaller than it currently is. Might require some experimentation. If you are using RESCALE, it should be found in "2.5xKSP.cfg"

For further explanation:

 Visuals for Outer Planets Mod

Just when I started to wonder if there is anyone bringing the OPM mod to even a remotely similar level as AVP is, you come out with this update. Just excellent!

I just updated to v4.0 and I get no clouds :/reverted back to 3.8.3.0 and I get clouds back.

I'm running 1.8.1.2694 KSP

let me know if you need anything else

I removed all mods and only re-installed the ones below

Astronomer's Visual Pack (AstronomersVisualPack 2:3.8.3.0)
Astronomer's Visual Pack-8k Textures (AVP-8kTextures v1.9)
Chatterer (Chatterer 0.9.98)
Distant Object Enhancement Continued (DistantObject v2.0.0.2)
Distant Object Enhancement Continued default config (DistantObject-default v2.0.0.2)
Environmental Visual Enhancements (EnvironmentalVisualEnhancements 2:EVE-1.8.0-2)
Kabrams Sun Flare Blue High (KabramsSunFlaresPack-Blue-High 001)
KS3P (KS3P V6.1)
Module Manager (ModuleManager 4.1.3)
PlanetShine (PlanetShine 0.2.6.3)
PlanetShine - Default configuration (PlanetShine-Config-Default 0.2.6.3)
scatterer (Scatterer 2:v0.0541)
Scatterer Default Config (Scatterer-config 2:v0.0541)

changing AVP to 2:4.0.0.0 breaks something or am i missing something in the options?

I'm a noob to where the log files are if you need any please let me know where they are

Bit of a read, but the log locations are listed in there... and in case you didnt know, its best to upload your logs to a file host, and then post the link here.
Pasting logs *in* a forum post causes much Kraken :P
