@cratercracker K2-153b is done! Despite the planet being twice the size of Earth, there remains a possibility that it is mainly rocky, and could have a thick atmosphere similar to a buffed Venusian atmosphere. That scenario is depicted below. For this image, I finally figured out how to add lens flares with GIMP!

Thanks! The host star came out really well, but the planet is not one of my best. I think I’ll try some more new K2 planets soon, maybe K2-148 A or K2-165.

EPIC 211428897, a binary pair of two small red dwarf flare stars with a compact system of five small, rocky planets around the primary. The planets are very tightly packed, with the outermost one taking less than a week to orbit the star. All are smaller than Earth by some margin and are too hot for life.

Jupiter-rise, Europa's surface.

Well, since it's tidally locked, Jupiter would be in roughly the same place in the sky at all times. Maybe a Jupiter rise from the orbit of Europa? Or Jupiter from Europa?

Great artwork regardless. I quite like it.

Good point! I think Jupiter from Europa sounds better!

Thanks!

Your artwork is getting better and better. I love the lines, on the mountain. (Don't know what they call those)

I haven't posted anything here yet. I hope i might have something to show here in the future.
