Mine is CatastrophicFailure and Just Jim.

I don't think it is right to "rate" artists like that.

A bit biased, but my favoured author is "steuben."

Right? *shrugs* maybe, maybe not.  But, it isn't a popularity contest... well yes it is. But we don't really frame it as much of one. Those of us who pay attention to such things notice it. But, we are paying closer attention to the skill.  

Popularity will buy your bread. But, skill will buy your beer.

You've got some good names on that list for sure but I could add another half dozen 'others' without having to think too hard, and probably more if I checked back through the Fanworks library. Way too many to pick a favourite, or even a handful of favourites.

I would like to see them too, but then the thread name would have to be changed. Right now it is authors only. It could be expanded to creators, or there could be multiple lists, each with its own type.

oops, thank you for all the suggestions. I guess I am a bit biased and I was self-confident because I have lately scanning the fan-works section alot because of my story. So sorry if I offended anybody, I just let my pride get ahead of me. I'll probably change this post up a bit in the near future, but am a bit too busy at the moment. Expect change within the next few days.
