Crashing but no output_log.txt

So not sure where to start on this to be honest i have a modded install but i'm not sure what mod could be causing the problem as when the crashes occur i get a mini dump file and and error.log but no output_log.txt Orginally i was having crashes when i transitioned from VAB to the launch pad i traced that to Kerbal Engineer Redux, I removed that mod and was able to launch but i crashed to desktop and this time there was no log file so i tried to launch again and this time the results were almost identircal except i was further into my orbital trajectory before it crashed. Second time no file. 

 

Should i uninstall and reinstall? At a bit of a loss on this one.
