Edit: Any *operational* rocket

I think the Minotaur V is technically operational, as in if the US military wanted, they could probably buy a launch on it, but it's not especially useful and probably won't ever launch again (It flew once).

Akin's Law of Spacecraft Design #39: Any exploration program which "just happens" to include a new launch vehicle is, de facto, a launch vehicle program.

I feel like this ASAT test has been massively overblown by the media. It was a low altitude test and as such won't produce any long lived space debris, and there are very few satellites in such a low orbit anyway so the risk of Kessler syndrome is minimal. The real concern is with high altitude ASAT tests that do pose a genuine risk to spaceflight, and international law regarding conventional weapons in space should be introduced to mitigate that risk.

So I found this...

slv_4.jpg

This right here is the engine bell of the first stage SRM of SLV-3, India's first launch vehicle..(also used for several early missilies)

So, is it just me or is that Sellotape/duct tape sealing the cracks in the bell??? Did they buy it from Jeb's Junkyard?? Did this SRM actually fly? I have sooo many questions!!!

Kinda kerbal looking

Atleast it does not have alternate solids and hypergols like the PSLV. I am pretty sure if we somehow managed to revive the genii of Rocketry and spaceflight and show them the specs of PSLV, those guys will just scream "BUT WHYYYYYYY??" and drop dead again..
