Space Engine

Recommended Posts

First, go to the desired planet and press shift+f2

this will open a menu with all of the perimeters for the planets, at the top there will be a button that says "export textures" click it and another menu will pop up asking about the perimeters of the texture, tweak to your liking and click export.

The texture will now be in your export folder.

Hi all,

The question is simple, how do I export SE (Space Engine) textures for the new mod I am making

I'm assuming you've already figured out exporting? There should've been a bar on the upper to lower right side with 'Export textures' somewhere near the top of it.

If only a small pop-up window comes up, you had the same problem as me :D Go to your desired planet, and then head to the main menu, and click editor. Choose 'Export planet' and you'll be greeted by a pop up that will ask what files you want (About Surface/Bump/Clouds, etc on the left). When you've done that, go to the Space Engine folder, and click on the 'Export' file, if it's not there, create one, and then Export the planet again, it should come up that time.

For me, when I tried Exporting multiple planets, it erased the last planet with the one I just Exported, so, what I did was move them to 'Pictures'.

Hope that works :)
