Game keeps crashing about halfway through the loading screen

Question

I have installed a bunch of mods, including all of the new realism mods for 1.2.2 and downgraded from 1.3 to 1.2.2 so I can run them. All the mods are up to date. Here is a screenshot of all the mods

No expert but one possibility is that you have the latest version of Module Manager, might be worth trying the 2.7.5 version.

Don't tell me you modded your original steam install. I made that mistake once.

Is this a bad idea for another reason besides Steam auto updates?

You are running Module Manager for 1.3. You need the last version for 1.2.2 as mention on the MM thread OP.

As long as you make a copy of your KSP install and put it somewhere for safe keeping, there is no reason to not install your main steam folder.

also, the RSS time formatter is included in RSS, is it not? I'm pretty sure you don't need the RSSDateTime folder :/ that is just a standalone for people that play rescaled stock KSP or a real size planet pack (besides RSS) and wanted a realistic date and time.
