Suggestion: "Launch stream in background feature"

Recommended Posts

Imagine a launch of SpaceX, people can watch the live stream of several cameras.

Now to the feature:
A few cameras are added to the vessel and automatically create a video file in background using the cameras at the active stage with a low resolution (to be set up , but defaulting to low values to not eat up the CPU).
For example when your rig is kinda potato, the video segments are 640x480 and 15 fps.
When your rig is high performant it's 1080p at 30 fps.

You get several video clips to be merged to one manually with free software later then.

The clips should have an UI overlay with a progress bar with stage dots on the bottom screen.
The gap between dots should be calculated prior launch by dV and burn time. Coasting time should be estimated - so a target apoapsis should be entered prior launch too.

Just an idea.
