Took  Kerbair 1 from KSC to BaikerBanur by way of the desert temple. Sorry for the brief post, not much time.

I dropped the outboard engines in the ocean; they were only there to push more fuel around. I guess the Goliaths were mounted a little low, lost them on landing. There's a little 8-seat flatbus in the cargo hold, but I didn't have time to pull it out.

Edit: Took the minibus for a spin.

One day Jeb decided to check his new career plane "Avicar-J3" for the maximal range.
"Of course, it's just a Juno-based plane, but perhaps he will be able a circumnavigate flight..."

(Plane: 3 "Juno" engines, one pilot, 6.3 tonn at launch, 3.3 tonn of fuel, career tech level - Science90+  (need one science160 "Advanced Aerodynamics" technology).

So, time to liftoff!

Main part of flight was over the Kerbin's night side (look the full album), at 11-13 km high. Average speed ~530 m/s (500-560, up to 608 m/s at final rush).

Other side of Kerbin, near the Round Range. the clouds here really beautiful :

Return back, after 2-hour flight. Engines already shutdown, some overfly though.

The final of flight - crosswise the 4 seas, 6220 km passed, 50% of fuel saved, so it enouch more than 2 circumnavigation (may be up to 2,5).

Stock parts only : OK vanilla KSP

I hear Jeb calling for MOAR BOOSTERS. I will build a monster only powered by SRB's. Lots of SRB's. In RORSS. It'll fly from Florida to Europe or from Kourou to Africa.

Yes, in RSS, but in Kerbal, crashtastic makeshift style.

Here's my entry for this...

... An hour long video with no voice-over, only showcasing a twin-boom aircraft that I've built that, surprisingly, can journey half-way across the globe before running out of fuel. (aka to poles and back).

Okay, so it may be an hour long, and I may or may not have stepped away during filming, but I think I did pretty okay.

Haven't seen too many twin-boom craft around here...

Yes, the title of this video is "KSP Challenge...O'er the Ocean and Through the Sky, to Some Random Place We Go!"

Have fun making a meme out of it, if you want.
