Ejector Seat Challenge

This challenge is focused on making an ejector seat. The goal is to eject a kerbal from a jet/plane at the highest speed with the kerbal surviving.

Rules:
-Kerbal(s) must be in a command seat when ejected.
-Command seat must be ejected with the kerbal in it.
-Kerbal(s) must survive ejecting and landing.
-Must stay within Kerbin's atmosphere (70km and below).
 -Mods are allowed.
-Proof must be shown. Screenshots accepted, video encouraged.
(Rules subject to change)

Points:
-"Mach X": Have the highest eject speed +250 points
-"Sonic Boom": Eject over mach 1 (340 m/s) +100 points
-"Passenger plane": Eject more than one kerbal +10 points
-"52 kerbal pickup": Eject each kerbal separately +10 points
     -(only with "Passenger plane")
-"Guess how many are in the jar": Additional points for each kerbal +3 points per kerbal (over 2 kerbals, max 45 points)

-(ie: 17 kerbals total = +45 points (3 points x 15 passengers = 45 points)
-"Are you sure this is safe?": Eject kerbal(s) from above 50km +25 points

-"Mass destruction avoided": Plane/jet survives landing +20 points

-"I can math!": You did the math so I don't have to! You get a star! +5 points
-"You monster!": Loss of points for each kerbal killed -5 points per kerbal killed

Additional points may be awarded after your run. This is voted for by me and possibly by everyone involved via poll. Do not add these in yourself.
-"Kerbin Kosmetics": Have the nicest looking plane/jet +50 points

(NOTE: Points don't count unless at least one kerbal survives ejection and lands safely)

2 kerbal pod ejected at 1100 m/s or so.

Also, kudos on a fairly well designed challenge!

Wait.... this is invalid (Kerbals must be in a command seat...)

Suggestion: put a limit on the number of additional kerbals, or something. Otherwise the winner is whoever spams the most kerbals, and that's no fun.

Very highly recommended. This flying brick took advantage of a per-kerbal bonus.

But you guys do realize that the kerbal has to be in a command seat, right?

Yep. Just stacking a long mk3 cargo bay full of command chairs on decouplers and parachutes seems easy enough... Definitely needs a limit...

What should the limit be for multiple kerbals?

You could try doing diminishing returns. +5 points per kerbal up to 5 total, then +2 points per kerbal up to 10 total, then +1 points per kerbal up to 20 total. So the most you could get by spamming kerbals would be +45.

Speed about 1930m/s, altitude about 64km.

Could do better with a bigger fuel tank.

Also I forgot to add batteries so there was no steering of the ejector. And of course no parachutes, they are for amateurs. :P

Album

I'm not sure if this is legit or not, I'm not offended if you decide to disqualify my entry.

Ok, redid this one in a lawn chair. I hope everything is bright enough.

Speed of 2306 m/s, reached a height of 423km - 1 kerbal

250+100+5+25 = 400

Album

Edit: Apparently I can't read. Does not stay within atmosphere.

70 km is the ceiling. The way I'm reading the rules, you're not supposed to exceed 70 km at any point in the mission.

Ahhh...

I should be more careful. This is the second time I've accidentally misread the rules.

I only lawyered on that one because I've got a 17-lawn-chair RAPIER-and-nuke SSTO that I'm gonna use to get the maximum possible score....

Due to the glitchyness of the Xbox version of the game, I have been unable to get every kerbal in a chair. Could I still get some credit if I used a single kerbal, but showcased the other seats, proving they're there?

My attempt. I'm going to tally up what the score would be if my Xbox was working correctly.

Eject over mach 1 (340 m/s) +100 points
Eject more than one Kerbal +10 points

+39 points for extra Kerbals

+5 points for addition

154 points total

Nowhere close to the top, but I'm new to challenges, and I've got to start somewhere!
