Anyone remember Kerbal foundries?

Is this still a thing, or is there something better that has been designed.. I remember when the wheel overhaul took effect and it was bandaid patched with some funky code, everyone was going ape about it being hard to work with, foundries seemed to die after that.. are there any good replacements available? For those who don't know, it had tank treads, magnetic hover discs, and large tires.

Forget who I was watching (was a stream on youtube) and he was in 1.3 and it would seem things with sliding randomly while parked and not directly being touched is still a thing.

Yes, that happened to me just the other day. I was taking all my Kerbals to the front of the astronaut complex when the Buffalo MSEV I was using started sliding towardss them. It then got bob caught in the wheels and started dismantling him with glitches.

Someone should honestly make a bug tracker ticket for this.

The KF thread is still rather active and I'm still working on it in my rare spare time.  It's under new management though, so there have been a lot of changes.  The sliding, however, is not unique to KF.  I've witnessed it with completely stock rockets sliding around after landing vertically on Kerbin.

Hmm... Kerbal Foundries... why does that sound familiar?  Man... I really seem to remember seeing somewhere that the mod was updated recently.

Oh, wait.... that's right.  Now I know why it seems familiar :)

Re: sliding when landed -- yep, still a problem, though from my testing, less so than the stock wheels/legs.  KF landing legs do include a 'lock suspension' that should remove the sliding, though it is still a problem with wheels/etc.  Feel free to take discussion regarding that problem over to the KF or KSPWheel threads (or, more properly, open an issue ticket on it....what a concept!).

This thread is quite old. Please consider starting a new thread rather than reviving this one.
