Hey @all,


first, my english is not the best so please be patient :)


I get a access violation on a clean ksp steam installation.


Following changes did not solved the help.
- Reinstallation
- Disabling UAC
- Changing the folder permissions in folder settings
- Changing permissions with cmd
     - ATTRIB -R "F:\Programme\Gaming\Steam\steamapps\common" /s /d
     - ATTRIB -R "F:\Programme\Gaming\Steam\steamapps\common\Kerbal Space Program" /s /d
- Disabled Firewall and Bitdefender
- Changed steam and game location on hdd
- Created a new administration user

Half a year ago the game works fine for me.

Crash!!!

Crashes with modded installs have two main causes:

  • Incompatible mod versions
  • Running out of memory in 32-bit mode

You seem to be running the 64-bit version, so double check all your mod versions. If you last ran this 6 months ago, it's likely you installed mods for 1.2.2 and then Steam auto-updated you to 1.3.0. You'll probably have to start from scratch and re-download all the mods.
