Presenting the greatest meme of all time. It is so great that it has brought unprecedented awareness to a threatened species.

May I present...the desert rain frog.

Yes, this exists. And yes, I've watched it over 2 dozen times because I have nothing better to do with my life . But I am serious about the awareness to a threatened species thing. Desert rain frogs are listed as "vulnerable" due to habitat loss in their very small range around the western coast of South Africa. Thankfully, a stupidly squeaky "defense cry" is all that it takes for humanity to fall in love with this little guy. Without this video I'm pretty sure that conservation efforts for this frog would be much more limited.
