Space Station & Planetary Habitation Mods

So, I am a relative KSP noob, and I am just wondering what are some of the better mods out there for building space stations and bases on planets? I know there would be a LOT of them out there likely, but I was hoping some of you fine folks can help me out here. Thank you.

Definitely @Nertea's space station expansion pack. Dont have enough experience with planetary bases, but KIS/KAS have parts to allow vessel attachment.

For planetary, it's hard to beat Planetary Base Systems.

 

MKS and Pathfinder are both worth checking out for both, but come with an overhead of new mechanics and systems that you may or may not be interested in.

Or you could just turn on Pristine Mode and have pretty parts to look at.  Pathfinder has the ability to simplify the new game mechanics or remove them entirely.
