Wonder how much damage it did to launch site. Looks like it was literally meters from the tower. I know it's not full "orbital" scale rocket, but still - ouch

Tower is probably well toasted but its an fairly small an cheap pad.

Well, from photos stuff seems fine.

https://forum.nasaspaceflight.com/index.php?topic=42521.140 has some images down.
Fire did not last so long, however unsure if tower is safe. All of cabling and lots of tubing is lost.

However this was an tiny rocket and an pretty simple launch structure, the flame trench and pad itself should be good so cost of damage is probably less than the price of an rocket.

"Today, July 28, the space station supply machine "Stork" No. 7 (HTV-7) was released for media coverage at Tanegashima Space Center. The Stork No. 7 is scheduled to launch on September 11 at the H-IIB7 rocket."

Is that an unpressurized cargo bay on the side of HTV-7? If it is, what is it?

?

A couple things. The resupply hasn't lifted off yet, so that's one of the previous missions in the image. Also, I'm not seeing any cargo bay in the image, just solar panels, and various bits of spacecraft.
