CTT Advancement, Specific or Broad?

Hiya guys =)

I've been saving up science points in my heavily modded career save which currently has 5.7k+. Most of the 550 ones below and a select 1009 tech node values have been unlocked. My game time now is at Y10 D333 and still got a long way =D

Is it better to concentrate on unlocking all of the Lifesupport/Habitation segment along with the nuclear segment of CTT up to High Density Fusion Reactions or Unified Field Theory; or get those other tech nodes that have upgrades to existing parts?

Or gradually unlock all tech nodes of the same science points value? =P

I'd say the answer to that question depends entirely on what you want to do, and what (other) mods you have installed.

Think unlocking every tech node is one of my long term goals =D

Honestly, I'm having problems using those advanced engines (plasma, nuclear, etc.) for ships and probes which is why I've been stuck using LFO engines. They're cheaper and doesn't use tons-o-EC to operate =P

Think completing the LS/hab segment and maybe up to the orbital construction node also would be my immediate goal. =)
