@tater that was very interesting. I love hearing Tory Bruno talk about rockets, that dude know his stuff. I know Elon is a bit of a favorite around this forum but Tory knows his product line backwards and forwards. He's also under no illusions that SpaceX does certain things better than ULA but I think they are in a good spot for delivering a lower risk launch vehicle.

Tory Bruno seems so much cooler than Musk. Love that "no BS" attitude. (Heh, got ninja'ed by that guy ^^^)

Mmmmh... it seems like the sled's cargo section is a bit too wide for a Gift Dispenser. I would bet the NRO contracted Northrop Grumman to put some "lenses" in.

~11 hours after Falcon 9 leaves FL. Busy day.

So, any takers on what NROL-71 is?

And don’t say “nice try, GRU”. Right now NASASpaceflight tips towards either a Block V KH-11 in a lower-inclination orbit, or a third stealthy, ASAT-hardened Misty. However, word in meatspace is that it’s got a really big emitter to go with the mirror - and that the scrubs are not accidental.
