Transparent screen, not responding, PLEASE HELP

Everytime I launch KSP (the Launcher thing), it works fine.

However, when I press Play, it isn't fine.

I can see my desktop through the window, and there is that annoying clock-like mouse which shows that it is not responding.

My PC is VERY, VERY, VERY, VERY, VERY weak. Well, maybe not that weak, but whatever, take a look at this DxDiag report:

I know it is way belwo the minimum requirements, but if I can play GTA III and GTA SA, I can play KSP... right?

Another problem is, when I change the settings, I PRESS APPLY, AND THEN ACCEPT, but they don't change when I look at them again!

Also, I set the Graphics Profile to Minimum (maybe KSP will work then exdee), again apply and accept, but nothing.

I like universe more than anything else, so this is a dissapoin- disappo- whatever...

You have supplied only a fragment of the DXdiag report, but I'm afraid to say that your PC may be too far below the minimum specification to run KSP. Please refer to the reporting guide and self help threads for further information

Those Games were made for a console that was launched 17 years ago.

1G ram (and only 1.5 swap) is very low for a ram hungry game like KSP (2G works for an unmodded game, unless you build monsters).

But I guess that your GPU might add to the issue, by sharing the little ram you have ...

Well, I just checked the requirements, and yeah...

 

BUT...

 

 

I can play it...

...with lag.

 

I managed to change settings to Minimal, and I can now play

But it is barely loading, so, guess it's time to buy a new PC...

If you can afford it, sure - it will be a much better experience for you. If you can't afford it, I think the best you can do is at least upgrade your RAM. That should make things much more stable
