RemoteTech: connected ships with no connection

Hoping this is the correct forum to ask this.

Playing KSP with Remote Tech, and for the most part I haven't had any trouble connecting my network about Eve and Duna, but I'm on my second expensive Kerbin-Jool relay and it's making me nuts because I can't see anything wrong. Long story short, here's the present state of my two satellites:

Top: Transciever - Jool, in escape trajectory of Jool, connected to Transciever - Kerbin but not connected to network.

Bottom: Transciever - Kerbin, in highly elliptical polar orbit of Kerbin, connected to Transciever - Jool and connected to network.

I have infinite electricity enabled because I lost patience with my solar panels tracking Valentine so that's not a factor here. What could possibly be wrong here?
